The freshness of morning wakes me...my solitary ways have returned, like the expected first frost... Never has solitary been so bittersweet... The breeze cools me, I shake off a shiver...hoping I could shake off your uncertainty... I wish I could be lost to you, but you seem to keep me here waiting in the dark... So I sit and stare down my street, watching the occassional pair of headlights...always a pair... This is my time, even if it is borrowed... No love nor glory...just the morning air and the day's ciguarette.

Yup yup, another year older...turned 21 for the third time! haha Glad to still be kicking around enjoying the little things and the wonderful people I have in my life. Theres always room for improvement, but life would be boring if we always got wat we wanted. This past year has been a learning experience! A lot of heartache, a lot of good memories, a lot of bad ones, met some special people, some not so special and I finally got to travel across the Atlantic! hehe:) so life is good. Yestarday...Like a bird, she seemed to have the ability to defy gravity. She acted with the expansiveness that comes from having a wide-ranging, high in-the-sky view of life.  Sometimes she reminds me of a Thunderbird, which among Native Americans was a mystical raptor that carried messages between spiritual beings.  It's eyes unleashed lightning and its enormous wings beat so hard that they spawned storms.  But sometimes, she was more like a nightingale-a small, graceful songbird that sings beautiful, complicated songs at night when no other bird is singing.  I admired her versatility, only she could pull off being half-thunderbird and half-
